Research and Evaluation

Progressive programmes of activities as well as undertaking further Research into a number of emerging themes with a view to identifying:

  • the efficacy and impact of specific workshops within events for collaborative projects
  • the impact of the overall event on the participating students
  • patterns of responses that lead to further research

We have developed systems for measuring the attitude of learners, identifying the factors that support improving the attainment of learners and their progression:

  • Development of questionnaires in relation to identifying specific learner outcomes
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of data
  • The impact and value of discrete, as compared with a series of linked progressive activities (shifts in aspiration and expectation)
  • Feedback on the efficacy of events in relation to intended learner outcomes for targeted and non-targeted learners
  • Monitoring the progression of students (destinations data collected and shared through locally negotiated protocols)
