Year 12 Conference
Aim
The DSN (Dyslexia Support Network) is sponsored by Aimhigher London South and organises the annual Higher Education Transitions Conference for students with dyslexia.This half day conference has been running for six years and was set up to raise awareness and provide information, advice and guidance on the support available to students considering studying at University.
The Process:
The morning
Students are invited to visit a University campus, talk with students from other schools and colleges and Student Ambassadors about their experiences of dyslexia as well as finding out about the latest study aids and resources available.
The afternoon
In the afternoon students attend a lecture-style presentation to introduce them to a University learning environment.

How to apply to University
Applying for the Disabled Students' Allowance.
The 2012 Dyslexia Transitions conference will be held at Brunel University on Wednesday 21st January.
