Disability

Aimhigher London South has worked with partner schools and colleges in identifying students with a range of disabilities to raise their confidence and support their aspirations to stay in education, achieve and progress

We have worked within and between sectors; schools, colleges and Universities to identify a number of training opportunities for students and staff and a range of Statutory and non-statutory organisations to develop and deliver specific programmes of support

We have been working with Achievability to develop and deliver bespoke Special Educational Needs sessions for staff INSET days and are currently working closely with Brunel University to widen access to their annual Disability event in February.  This half day event gives prospective students a chance to speak with undergraduates currently studying at the University and an idea of what support is available to them to meet their specific needs.
