Targeting Aimhigher students
Schools should target those learners who have been traditionally under-represented in Higher education and have the potential to benefit from Aimhigher-related events and activities.
Schools are encouraged to select learners
- whose parents have no experience of HE
- from backgrounds where there is likely to be socio-economic disadvantage, measured through postcode and and NS-SEC data
- who have a disability or are Children Looked After (regardless of the above criteria)
